If obstructive sleep apnea or central sleep apnea is detected in your study, our support team will contact you to discuss the best next steps. If you want to move forward with treatment, we can connect you to a member of our treatment network in your area. Our treatment partners include sleep care specialists and dentists specializing in sleep.
Depending on the severity of your sleep apnea, you may be a candidate for several different treatment options including:
- Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) Therapy: A method of treatment that supplies a flow of air through a nasal or oronasal mask into the airway. In many cases, PAP therapy is the primary and most effective form of treating sleep apnea.
- Oral Appliance Therapy: A device worn in your mouth during the night that can help prevent your airway from collapsing which causes sleep apnea or snoring.
- Positional Therapy: Devices that prevent you from sleeping on your back. Positional therapy can be used alone or along with other forms of treatment.
